Recommendations for yoga apparel wholesalers for small batch

I am interested in having some yoga apparel available for retail at my studio and am looking for a reasonably priced source for quality (not too expensive) tanks, tees, long sleeve tops and yoga pants that I can customize with my logo's and quotes. Does anyone have a recommendation? Made in USA and natural fabrics definitely a plus.

Yoga apparel is becoming more available for small businesses, especially with the increase in Yoga around the world, with an 9bn a year industry in 2017. For USA based apparel, the best option would be to shop local for small quantities unless you are looking at expanding into accessories too with your own brand, we can recommend YogaAccessories.com as they provide an incredible wholesale service at amazing prices.

Does your Yoga Studio offer a free trial class so students can get a taste of who you are and what you provide? Offering a Free trial class is something that is highly debatable within the Yoga industry, in our experience of going around the world and researching hundreds of Yoga Studios its a 50/50 split, why? The main reason for most is obviously commercial and they believe in giving something free isn't commercially viable! However we have listed some of the reasons Studios and Teachers are giving for NOT offering Free trial classes, they might surprise you:- Its Egoistic to offer free classes. Cannot afford to offer free classes. We need to make money! Don´t have space. Its not ethical as Yoga is a business. Students should pay to join my classes. Its not fair for paying students! I didn't get any free classes! And now some reasons for offering Free classes:- Its ethical. Yoga is something special about giving something back. Its a kind gesture. Nice to give one free class to try, if you like stay and try more, if you don´t try somewhere else. Kind and generous. Shows you really care about what you teach and not preach. Giving a free trial class makes business sense. In summary we strongly believe offering a free yoga trial class shows a potential student that you are open and welcoming for them to see who you are and what you offer. If the student enjoys their time, then you have another happy student joining your community, if they didn't connect then recommend other Yoga studios and be kind. Let us know your opinion and share your valuable Yoga experience. #fsya #yoga

What Google defines as strong leadership is based on a famous internal project - the Project Oxygen. This project was designed to identify what successful Google managers do. The Project Oxygen was an internal team that spent one year data-mining performance appraisals, employee surveys and other available  sources. The research team received an extensive data volume and complemented the quantitative data with qualitative information from interviews. The interviews were mapped using standard behavioral science methodologies. The final result was eight behaviors -- things great managers do that make them great. They are, in order of importance: Be a good coach. Empower; don't micromanage. Be interested in direct reports, success and well-being. Be productive and results-oriented. Be a good communicator and listen to your team. Help your employees with career development. Have a clear vision and strategy for the team. Have key technical skills so you can advise the team. All these behaviors have one thing in common -- the manager should be deeply committed to short- and long-term employee success. As they say in the military, "Love your soldiers." Leadership is one of four dimensions that all candidates being interviewed by Google are assessed against. Read more here if you are curious to learn more about Google’s recruitment process and their recruitment dimensions. Maybe Google’s leadership definition and eight behaviours could be something that International organizations adopt. Recently, I have noticed quite a few publications from schools, studios and organisations stating that their Yoga Alliance certificates are globally recognised. Is this true? In most cases no. Everyone is aware Yoga is a union or connection something that should unite yogis around the world including Yoga Alliances. However this unfortunately is not the case, most alliances around the world do not accept, or collaborate with other alliances as they strongly believe their own standards are the best with the highest credentials. Very few Yoga organisations recognise others in the same light, for example the International Yoga Federation (source; http://www.internationalyogafederation.net ) recognises literally hunderds of other yoga bodies around the world, which shows some are united whilst others dont want to share the idea yoga can unite, for example Yoga Alliance USA (source; https://www.yogaalliance.org/Learn/Article_Archive/Not_All_YAs_Are_The_Same ) does not recognise other yoga bodies. Yoga Certification Recognition - Verification If you are a studio, school or an organisation that offers internationally accepted certification and accreditation then check to ensure this is factual, many are stating that their particular certificate is recognised by all organisations around the world, this is false in most cases. Fine Line Between, Profit, Greed and Professionalism After reviewing a famous yoga school in India, I noticed they were stating something that was completely untrue and innaccurate, have a look at the extract below: Will I be qualified to teach in the UK or Australia? Yes! The Yoga Alliance USA is recognized all over the world. Note however that registering as a member with Yoga Alliance USA does not register you as a member of Yoga Alliance UK/AU. It is interesting to see that this school clearly states that a Yoga Alliance USA certificate is valid around the world, now ask Yoga Alliance Professionals UK or any other Yoga Alliance around the world, Australia, New Zealand, India, Spain, Germany....you see where I am going. In the UK for example there are few recognised organisations with the main ones being, Yoga Alliance Professionals, British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Scotland and the Independant Yoga Network. STRONG ADVICE As a freelance yogi, I would strongly suggest to any studio, school and organisation that issues yoga certifications to ensure they issuing factual information for their businesses. Students and teachers should carry out due diligence and ensure that the course certificate is a recognised certificate, following a global syllabus, check with the International Yoga Federation for a variety of standards (source: http://www.internationalyogafederation.net/standards.htm) and ensure you also check the QCI certification process as they are the only governing body in Yoga (source: http://yogacertification.qci.org.in/syllabus.php). Summary I personally believe all yoga organisations should be united under the same guidelines to give fellow yogis confidence that they are acknowledged where ever they are in the world without any injustice, selfishness or discrimination.
